The above message is a reminder to myself and anyone who visits this page. As humans on this planet it is easy to forget to stay in the present and live in the now, so I and perhaps you also need this gentle and consistent reminder. This is the power of daily mediation and breath-work.

When you are searching for peace of mind, wanting to practice on-going care for yourself by reducing stress or creating mind-body connection meditation is a practice to take you there. Meditation is a tool, a life choice to help with healing, wisdom and learning. It provides a way to calm the mind and body, bring grounding and centering, teach a mindfulness of slowing down and softening for ourselves to live a calmer, fuller life.

Meditation is part of the Mind -Body service offerings. If you are seeking to learn more about the practice and roots of meditation,understand how meditation can support you, how to create an on-going practice or continue an on-going practice we have many options for you. There are a vast number of meditation disciplines and practices and we offer and support several at Embody. No matter which practice(s) you enjoy all meditation is seeking to release you from attachment to ego, calm the mind, ease the body and bring you to stillness from the swirling thoughts of everyday life. Meditation and breath-work teach you to release the past, reduce your worries about the future and remember to keep your body and mind rooted in the hear and now.

Community meditation can support you with an on-going practice and share in the unity and strength as you align and practice presence with others. The purpose of an on-going and consistent practice is to guide your mind into calmness, to learn to still the mind and to teach yourself to arrive at a grounded and steady state even in difficult times. We can’t erase difficulties; however, we can learn to approach them from a different state mentally, emotionally and with increased clarity. With this consistent practice and the support of your community meditation group you can begin to embrace life with a new perspective and a greater sense of present moment joy.

Embody has on-going classes weekly, the ability to support community meditation at your site and can meet corporate meditation needs for work groups or workshops. In addition, private meditation or meditation as part of your massage service is available.
